10 month update

Well sweet girl, we are officially 2 months from your first birthday. How is this possible? This is so bitter sweet to me. Your my last baby. I want you this age forever. You are the kind of baby people dream of.  Not only are you gorgeous, you are so happy all the time. You love people, you love to smile and laugh. You don't fuss unless your up way past your bedtime or unless your sick. If I could freeze time I would, to keep you the way you are. Perfect in every way.

You still are army crawling everywhere. BUT  We found out at the end of the month that you can actually crawl (on your hands and knees not pulling your belly and self across the floor) you choose not to. You only truly crawl when your naked. You don't like the way it feels to army crawl on your bare belly. 

We were pretty busy this month with Halloween and all the fall events. You are such a trooper and are so happy wherever we go. Never fuss never complain. Best baby ever. 

It was your first halloween and you went as a little sheep. Maddi was Little Bo Peep. Everyone went crazy over you two in your adorable outfits. You loved seeing all the kids who passed by.

This month I really noticed your extreme love for animals. (This melts the animal lover heart in me.) anytime we see an animal you start screaming, talking, and reaching for the animal. You love Momo's cats, Andy and Buster, and you go crazy over Grandma and Grandpas dog, Carmie. Momo's cats are outside cats so you just stand at Momo's back door and just talk to them (the cats).

Favorite Games and Toys:

Your favorite toy is this pink princess car you ride in around the neighborhood. We go for a car ride every day as long as its not raining. You are really into any balls and rolling them back and forth with me and Sissy. You love swinging and playing in the plastic tubes in the park. The church we live near has an indoor playground and when i take you and your sister to play there you just crawl, scream (in joy), play. It is so fun to watch you in there and you will play there as long as we can stay :) this month we found out how much you love rough housing. You love being tossed on the bed the most. You are pretty fearless and it is so much fun hearing you giggle. You are ticklish pretty much everywhere.

Eating schedule:

We are down to 3 bottles a day. One (8oz) when you wake up, one (8oz) before nap, and one (8oz) before bed. You eat 3 meals a day. I still make your baby food. Avacados and oatmeal with fruit is your favorite. You don't really like the meats I fix you but love all finger foods. Cheese, grapes,tomatoes,goldfish,green beans are your favorite finger foods!! 

Sleep schedule:

Same as last month :) you are a great sleeper.

9 month update!

My Sweet Peanut,

Another month has come and gone. I am still in disbelief you are actually 9 months old. These wonderful months with you have just gone by in a blink of the eye! 

You have grown so much this month. Every month you are more and more fun, with a huge happy personality that keeps growing. 

You are absolutely a "people person". When we go shopping anywhere you always wave and smile to anyone who looks your way. You love babbling to anyone who will listen. 

9 Month Stats:

16.8 lbs

We were at the Dr a lot this past month. You always seem to be getting sick. Any cold or virus going around, guaranteed you will catch it. Your a tough little cookie though, never complaining when sick. 

Throughout the month of September you started waving Hi and Bye, giving hi-fives, make a kiss noise when asked for a kiss, reach your arms in the air when asked "how big is Livvi? So big!!". You also learned how to go from your belly to sitting and pull yourself up to standing. Still just doing the army crawl around the house, You haven't mastered real crawling and don't seem to have any interest in it. You spend all day crawling around looking for a place to pull up and stand. It's literally all you do. Your favorite place to do this is the front window. I still need to get a picture of this :)

You said your 1st (2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th) word this month.

Your first official word was Mama (Sept 10).  I can't even tell you the joy it brought to me hearing you say it. I got the best video of you, I will cherish it forever. 

In the same week you started saying Maddi (pronounced Maamaa) and you said Papa and baba indiscriminately.

Then a week after that (Sept 20) whenever Daddy would walk into the room you would wave and say "Dada".  

Like I said, alot of change this month! 

Favorite Games and Toys:

Peek a boo is still your favorite game. There is nothing that makes you smile bigger or laugh harder than Peek A Boo! Your favorite toys are anything you can pull yourself up on and stand. You love rolling balls back and forth. You absolutely love chasing after your sister wherever she goes. The friendship you have is so sweet to watch.

Eating/Sleeping Schedule:

You consistently wake up at 615am (no matter what time we put you down). You eat 4-8oz bottles a day and 3 meals. Oatmeal or yogurt for breakfast (your two favorites) and veggies and fruit for lunch/dinner. You love foods you can pick up yourself (Kix, puffs, cheeto puffs, peas, cut up fruit, etc). You still nap twice a day (1.5-2hrs) and go to bed between 720-740. We finally got rid of your "dream feed" at 10 pm, and you sleep all the way till 615. :) You are the lightest sleeper. Any little noise wakes you up from any sleep.

Well Peanut, another month has come and gone. Everyday my love for you grows. Your sweet nature is irresistible. You are so very loved by all your family but especially Daddy, Sissy, and me. Everyday I wake up excited to see what new things you will learn and do.
