Officially 2.5

My sweet Maddi Moo turned two and a half July 4th. These two and a half years have been, without a doubt, the best years of my life. Maddi has brought so much love and joy to so many people. We are so incredibly blessed to call her our daughter. She is my big helper, my sweet little side-kick.

Here she is 2 years ago on July 4th. Only 6 months

To My Sweet Munchkin

Happy 2.5 years my little love. You have become such a big girl. Its amazing how much you have grown and changed in the last 6 months. You are so strong willed, you like things done your way (you insist things be done your way). you are absolutely the sassiest little thing. We love how witty you are and your sense of humor. The things you say make Daddy and me all day.  you are so intelligent and so serious, you like to take in your surroundings and check everything out before you get comfortable enough to smile and talk. You love everyone and when we get you at the right time you will let us cuddle love and kiss you for what seems like hours. My favorite times with you are when we are cuddled up reading books before bed. You love all music, singing and dancing. Your favorite songs are The More We Get Together, You are My Sunshine, Ring a Round the Rosy, "mommys song" (the song you and I sing every night- eskimosees, eskimosees,butterflies, butterflies, mommy really loves you, daddy really loves you, yes we do. All while kissing your Nose and eyes and cheeks).

There is nothing that makes me happier than hearing you say your prayers and thanking God for the things you love the most (ie "papa, Hayden, Momo, going under water at swim class ".)   You are completely potty trained, even through the night! (The thru the night is a new thing and whenever you wake up you say, "I not go teetee my diaper. High sive.") Such a big girl. Your security item is your "pink or white blankie" which is your receiving blankets from when you were first born. You started getting really attached to them around your 2nd birthday.  You still nap one time a day, usually around 1. I can't say enough about what a good big sister you are. You always include Livvi in everything we do. You make sure she has toys, pacis, and blankies. Anything she (or anyone) needs you insist on getting it. Our big helper. You currently go to school 2 days a week and absolutely love it. You also do gymnastics once a week and just completed your first swim class. You now love the water and going under water like "grown ups do".

You changed me in ways you will never know. You are the sunshine in my day. The joy in my soul. My love for you is unwavering and never ending. You are my first born because of that we will always a connection like no one else. My sweet little baby, always my baby.
